All work for the Project shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Engineer. Bids shall be submitted for furnishing, delivering, and installing all materials, equipment, and services including labor for the Work, which generally involves the following activities: Guardrail improvements at the following locations within the City of Wildwood: Legion Avenue CR 44A at 5th Avenue CR 44A (Kilgore Street) CR 44A at Philips Lane (removal only) For more information, contact Sherri Bishop at Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. at (352) 438-3000. Construction time to achieve Substantial Completion is 60 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with an additional 30 consecutive calendar days to achieve Final Completion. Total construction duration is 90 consecutive calendar days. The Owner will require that the Contractor furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. All Performance Bonds shall be secured from or countersigned by an agency or surety company recognized in good standing and authorized to do business in the State of Florida. All bids shall be prepared using the Project Manual and Drawings. Addenda will be posted to the City Website and Demand Star. In order to receive addenda by email, bidders shall contact Sherri Bishop at the office of the Engineer via email at sherri.bishop@kimley-horn.com to be placed on an Interested Bidders List. Addenda will be posted or sent via e-mail up to seventy-two (72) hours before the Bid closing time. The Owner/Engineer is not responsible for delivery of addenda to prospective bidders.
