Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Canton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Applegrove and Strip (Part a) & Frank and Strausser (Part B) Projects The Engineer's Estimate for This Project is: $2,235,000.00. Construction Work Shall Be Substantially Completed 180 Calendar Days After the Notice to Proceed. All Closure Related Work for Both Parts a & B Shall Be Completed and All Roads Open by the Interim Completion Date, June 15, 2024. Upon Receiving a Responsible and Responsive Low Bid, the County Will Proceed With Award of the Contract. Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the Form of (1) a Certified Check, or Cashier's Check, or Letter of Credit Equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the Bid; or (2) a Bid Guaranty Bond for the Full Amount of the Bid; Both Forms of Guaranties as Provided in Chapter 153 of the Ohio Revised Code and in the Project Specifications. Construction Work Shall Be Subject to the Prevalling Wage Rates Established by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. Each Bid Shall Be in Conformity With the Ohio Revised Code and All Bids and Certificates Shall Be Upon the Forms Furnished With the Specifications. All Bids Shall Be Delivered to the Office of the Stark County Commissioners, at or Prior to the Date and Hour Specified for Receiving Bids, In the Case of Corporations Not Chartered in the State of Ohio, the Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Proper Certificate of the Secretary of State, Certifying That Such Corporation is Authorized to Do Business in Ohio. All Contractors and Subcontractors Involved With the Project Will, to the Extent Practicable Use Ohio Products, Materials, Services, and Labor in the Implementation of Their Project. Additionally, Contractor Compliance With the Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements of the Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order 84-9 Shall Be Required. The Stark County Commissioners Reserve the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Any Informalities or Irregularities in the Bids Received, and to Accept Any Bid Which is Deemed Most Favorable to the County at the Time and Under the Conditions Stipulated. The Engineer Will Review All Bids for Irregularities and Unbalancing. Any Unbalancing or Irregularities Found May Be Cause for Rejection of the Entire Bid. The Commissioners Further Declare That They Will Award the Contract for This Project to the Lowest And Best Bid Which May Not Necessarily Be the Lowest Bid. No Single Factor Will Control the Board's Decision to Award, and the Board Reserves the Right to Exercise Its Full Discretion. No Work May Commence on This Project Until Receipt by the Contractor of a Formal Notice to Proceed From the County Commissioners.
