Site work and paving for a road / highway in Burlington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Boone County Fiscal Court will receive bids from qualified vendors to perform the services associated with the Resurfacing (Milling and Paving) of County Roads and Streets in the Hebron area. Work shall include all labor, equipment, materials and services necessary to complete the work described in this Invitation to Bid. A bid bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties in equal amount to five (5) percent of the bid (including Add Alternates) shall be submitted (electronically) with each bid. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a surety bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Question Submission Deadline: November 29, 2023, 5:00pm Question Response Deadline: December 1, 2023, 5:00pm Term: The completion Date for this project shall be September 1, 2024 For each calendar day that the Contractor fails to complete the work after the final completion date, the County will deduct $250/day from any money due the Contractor; not as a penalty, but as agreed liquidated damages. Boone County reserves the right to reject any and all bids,
