A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Nassau County Department of Public Works is requesting proposals from firms to provide Design for Bridge Rehabilitation and Painting of Long Beach Road All questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted by e-mail and, if deemed necessary will be clarified by addendum issued to all respondents. No questions will be answered verbally. E-mails shall be sent to the attention of Andrea Pereira, Civil Engineer II at apereira@nassaucountyny.gov . Proposers should submit their question(s) prior to close of business on Friday, December 1, 2023. Violation of these provisions may result in immediate disqualification. Proposals should only be submitted after careful examination of the complete RFP and its requirements. The selected firm will be required to provide proof of general and professional liability insurance in the minimum amounts of $2,000,000 in the aggregate and $1,000,000 per occurrence, respectively. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Contract term: Two (2) years with a possible two (2) year extension for a possible term of four (4) years. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
