As of April 4, 2025, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design development phase. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The County is seeking respondents who are qualified to provide survey, design, and permitting assistance of a 16-inch Water Main and 12-inch Force Main. The pipe size may be increased based on final utility investigation and development needs. The selected firm will provide a construction cost estimate, (30%, 60%, 90% & 100%) design plans, and schedule. The proposal will also include progress meetings for each milestone. Pursuant to Section 287.055 Florida Statutes, the County is accepting submittals from qualified firms or individuals to provide professional services related to infrastructure inventory and conditions assessment data collection, as described in Attachment A. Since Florida law requires the County to make a determination of a consultant's qualifications prior to their employment, those firms or individuals that wish to be considered should submit a Qualification Package as described in this RFQ. Qualification packages (also referred to herein as "proposals") will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation methodology described in Section 9. The evaluation and selection committee may also use the evaluation methodology to aid in reducing the total number of submittals to a short-list of firms, if necessary. Short-listed firms may be invited to make presentations for final evaluation based on the evaluation criteria. Proposals will be considered from qualified firms or individuals whose experience includes successful work in similar projects. Also, the firm must have a sufficient number of qualified staff in the applicable disciplines to complete the work in the time required and in accordance with State of Florida statutes and standards, if applicable.
