2024 Drainage Imrpovements Riverside Township Public School District, and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier's Check drawn to the order of Riverside Township Public School District for ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided said security need not be more than $20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract. The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the place on or before the hour named above. All other bid securities will be returned after awarding and signing of the contract and approval of the Contractor's Performance Bond. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. In accordance with P.L. 2021, c. 301 a contractor submitting the lowest bid for a contract that is subject to the Prevailing Wage Act, if that bid is 10 percent or more, lower than the next lowest bid, to certify to the public body that the prevailing wage rates required by the Act shall be paid. The right is reserved to reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such bidder or bidders, who, in the judgment of the Township of Riverside makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in these Specifications. The Bidders are requested to submit, in accordance with N.J.S.A 18A:18A18(b)(2), one Lump Sum Bid for all of the work and materials. Bidders and/or their Prime Subcontractors must be prequalified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in the following categories, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26 et seq.: C008 General Construction or C009 General Construction / Alterations and Additions.
