The work for this project consists of the following items BASE BID 1. Variable Depth Milling, and HMA Surface Course paving. 2. Concrete sidewalk, curbing, and aprons. 3. Restoring disturbed paving areas with HMA Surface Course, Base Course, Dense Graded Aggregate, and flowable fill. 4. Restoring disturbed vegetated/lawn areas. As a minimum, all lawns shall be restored with topsoil, fertilizer, seed, and mulch. Other materials shall be restored in-kind. 5. Providing all necessary traffic directors and traffic control in accordance with the MUTCD. Riverside Township Police Department must be contacted for any closure. The above description of work outlines the general items and distribution of work, and should not be construed as being all-inclusive. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the Specifications and shown on the Plans of the construction of NJDOT FY2025 Municipal Aid - Sylvan Street, Pavilion Avenue, and Litle Avenue Improvements in the Township of Riverside, New Jersey, including but not limited to HDPE pipe replacement and paved trench repair. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified or Cashier's Check in the amount not less than 10% of the amount bid, but not exceeding $20,000. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company, licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bond upon the award of contract.
