Nipissing University is seeking experienced and qualified vendors to submit proposals to, supply and install three (3) HVAC units. Please include Honeywell controls in the pricing of the project. The full scope of work is prescribed in detail in the attached tender documents. Proponents shall obtain all permits, licences, and approvals required in connection with the supply of the Goods and Installation. The costs of obtaining such permits, licences, and approvals shall be the responsibility of, and shall be paid for by, the Proponent. Where a Proponent is required by Applicable Laws to hold or obtain any such permit, licence, and approval to carry on an activity contemplated in its Proposal or in the agreement, neither acceptance of the Proposal nor execution of an agreement by the Purchaser shall be considered an approval by the Purchaser for the Proponent to carry on such activity without the requisite permit, licence, or approval. Any electrical Goods being proposed for consideration pursuant to this RFP must be authorized or approved in accordance with the Electrical Safety Code or by a certification organization accredited with the Standards Council of Canada Act (Canada) and shall bear the certification organization's mark identifying the goods certified for use in Canada. Certification shall be to the standard that is appropriate for the intended use of the electrical Goods at the Purchaser's facilities. Prior to entering into an agreement, the Proponent shall have provided satisfactory evidence of such certification, as applicable. The Proponent should provide a detailed work plan of the Supply and Installation it will provide, including all the tasks, milestones, and timelines, which may include but not be limited to providing a chart, graphic, or other tool. The names of the individuals performing each task should be included. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
