The Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) was established as a Joint Powers Agency on August 15, 1975 and began operating bus service on March 16, 1977. RTA is the Consolidated Transportation Service Agency for western Riverside County and is responsible for coordinating transit services throughout the approximate 2,500 square mile service area, providing driver training, assistance with grant applications and development of Short-Range Transit Plans (SRTPs). Required Documents - It is the responsibility of the Offeror/Bidder/Respondent to check all areas of the solicitation post before submission. Specifically, be sure to review the applicable Response Types in the Bid Information tab and the Documents, Q&A, Addenda & Email tabs. This is a prevailing wage project and is subject to the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) Prevailing Wage Requirements and related acts. Bidders/Offerors are responsible to be self-informed regarding the requirements of prevailing wages within the State of California and the County of Riverside. This project will be subject to monitoring and enforcement by DIR, including the obligation of awarded contractor to submit certified payroll directly to the DIR and RTA. Option Terms - RTA, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to extend the term up to an additional twelve (12) months. RTA's election to extend beyond the "Initial Term" shall not diminish its right to terminate for convenience or default.
