Construction of a non-compliance issue related to an emergency exit at Carter Place, located at 602 1st St, SE, Calgary, AB. The primary objective of this project is to bring the emergency exit up to the current standards as required by the Building and Fire Code. TIMELINE: A Request For Proposals from Consultants has been issued by the owner. The awarded proponent will provide consulting services including conducting a thorough evaluation of the main floor and second floor to identify all areas of non-compliance, based on Fire Department Inspection report (to be provided by TPFA). The Consultant will creating a scope of work to address all identified non-compliance issues. Provide drawings and documentation for all proposed modifications and upgrades to be included on future contractor tenders and permit applications. Provide as-built drawings at the end of the project. Examination of Site: Attendance of the site visit is recommended for bidders on the specified date, to take such other steps as may be reasonably necessary to ascertain the size, nature and location of the Work, and the general and local conditions which may affect the Work and the cost thereof. If bidder is unable to attend site visit it is their responsibility to arrange a site visit. If the site visit is Mandatory such notice will be given. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
