This document constitutes a Request for Proposals for a Professional Service Contract from qualified individuals and organizations to furnish those services as described herein for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department of Highways County - Jefferson Route - US-31E Item No. - 5-80261.00 Project Description - Reduce congestion, improve safety and enhance mobility along the US-31E (Bardstown Road) corridor from the Bullitt/Jefferson County line to KY-1065 (Beulah Church/Seatonville Road). (MP 0.0 - MP 5.6) Project Manager - Larry Chaney, P.E. User Division - Planning Approximate Fee - $400,000 Planning Study (Lump Sum) Project Funding - SPP Funds (State Funds) Project Length - Approximately 5.6 miles The Consultant team shall include a DBE Participation Plan with their Response to Announcement to help the Department meet the 11.95% DBE goal established by FHWA. First Selection Meeting: December 8, 2023 Final Selection: December 20, 2023 Pre-Design Conference: January 3, 2024 Consultant Fee Proposal: January 12, 2024 Contract Negotiations: January 24, 2024 Notice to Proceed: February 14, 2024 The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
