Renovation of a residential development in Mariposa, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The County of Mariposa Health and Human Services Agency invites sealed bids for vendors to provide residential heating devices within Mariposa County. Mariposa County Health and Human Services Agency is requesting proposals for an experienced vendor to replace high-polluting, uncertified wood stoves, wood inserts, and fireplaces used for primary home heating with cleaner burning, more efficient home heating devices. The ideal proposal will provide the maximum number of replacement devices including removal and recycling of existing uncertified residential wood burning devices with heating equipment that meets grant specifications, installation of new units and accompanying equipment and materials, and training for the recipient homeowners on the proper use of all new equipment. Qualified vendors must be licensed by the California State Licensing Board, have a minimum of three (3) years' experience installing home heating devices to manufacturer specifications, provide services as described in the Scope of Work, including, but not limited to, compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements, provide insurance as required, comply with all applicable Mariposa County Codes, and be able to meeting timelines to achieve project goals.
