The contractor is responsible for all items of work necessary to complete the project. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check, or a Bid Bond executed by the BIDDER and an approved surety company and payable to the CITY, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the sum total of the base bid. Not less than the prevailing hourly rates of wages that the higher of State or Federal Wage Rates shall prevail, or determined by court on appeal, shall be paid to all workers performing work under this Contract. The DBE goal for this letting is a minimum 10% of the total contract amount.
