Reference Number 0000259989 Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/12/29 12:00:00 PM EST Bridge Inspection Services Blue Water Bridge Contract No. 3-10-23-34 (2024 Inspection) Contract No. 3-10-23-35 (2025, 2026 & 2027 Inspection) These Terms of Reference provide a general outline of the Consultants professional services required: Comprehensive Detailed Inspections and General Inspections of the Canadian portions of the Blue Water Bridge (FBWB, SBWB and TRB) as per Public Services and Procurement Canada Bridge Inspection Manual (PSPC BIM) requirements Additional Engineering services including: Review of computations and drawings related to bridge projects Structural designs and details Attendance at meetings Emergency response Support of Asset Management Plan implementation The Owner reserves the right, in its discretion, to: (a) negotiate with the proponent with the highest combined score of Technical and Financial Proposals; or (b) negotiate with the sole responsive proponent to ensure best value to the Owner. This RFP is for the bridge inspection services contract of the Canadian portions of the Blue Water Bridge in 2024, with a possibility that another bridge inspection services contract of the Canadian portions of the Blue Water Bridge in 2025, 2026 and 2027. Contract No. 3-10-23-34 will be awarded in 2024 to the successful proponent. Contract No. 3-10-23-35 may or may not be awarded in 2025 to the same successful proponent as the Owner is currently exploring a possible portfolio bridge inspection program with the Owner's bridge partner effective 2025. For each bridge inspection services contract, the successful proponent will be required to sign the Contract as per attached Articles of Agreement, Consulting and Professional Services.
