Carpet & Tile Replacement Services. The term of the resulting agreement is anticipated to be effective from June 1, 2024 through May 31, 2025. CHP reserves the right to reject all bids and to cancel this IFB if it is in the best interest of CHP to do so. Liquidated Damages Contractor shall forfeit to the State as liquidated damages, One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each calendar day, or option thereof, which is delayed beyond the established work schedule, to be deducted from any payments due or to become due to the Contractor. If progress payments are provided for in the bid and the contract amount exceeds ten thousand dollars ($10,000), the successful bidder shall furnish an original faithful performance bond and a duplicate copy in a sum not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount payable under the contract. Bids must address all of the services described in Exhibit A entitled, Scope of Work that is included in the Proposed Agreement Forms/Exhibits section of this IFB. Exhibit A contains a detailed description of the services and work to be performed, as a result of this IFB including those terms in the referenced exhibits. The CHP intends to make a single agreement award to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid.
