The Town of Westville, acting through its Town Council, hereby gives notice that sealed Bids will be received in the Westville Town Hall for the following described project. The work shall consist of the relocation of a sanitary sewer force main on County Road 600 South and US Highway 421 for the Town of Westville, LaPorte County, Indiana. Bids will be received on the following Contract: Relocation of a Sanitary Sewer Force Main All Bidders shall bid in accordance with and upon the Bid Forms included in the Contract Documents. The Bidding Documents are on file for inspection at the office of McMAHON, 952 South State Road 2, Valparaiso, Indiana 46385. In order to be a Plan Holder or Bidder, each firm or organization shall obtain a complete digital version of the Bidding Documents from McMAHON as designated in this Advertisement For Bids. No Bid shall be received unless accompanied by a Certified Check or satisfactory Bid Bond payable to the Town of Westville in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum bid as a guarantee that, if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance/Payment Bonds and Insurance Certification, as required by the Contract Documents, within 10-days after Notice of Award. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the bid or Bids which best serves the interests of the Town of Westville. No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 90-days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the ENGINEER/ARCHITECT in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda.
