The intent and purpose of this Request for Bids is to solicit quotations for the City of Santa Barbara El Estero Water Resource Center (EEWRC) annual supply of 40% Liquid Ammonium Sulfate used to treat the secondary influent. It is estimated that the vendor will deliver approximately 5,000 gallon tanker loads of liquid ammonium Sulfate 40% into two 6,000 gallon bulk storage tanks, for an average annual total of approximately 80,000 gallons. The initial contract term will be for the remainder of fiscal year 2024, ending June 30, 2024. This contract can be renewed by mutual consent for 4 additional one-year terms. The maximum term shall not exceed 5 years from the date of award.
