Scope of Work: The selected contractor will be responsible for providing a comprehensive design and construction package for the North Hemlock Bridge, ensuring compliance with all relevant New Hampshire DOT codes and standards. The successful proposal should address key aspects such as structural integrity, aesthetics, environmental considerations, and cost-effectiveness. Town of Charlestown is in the process of seeking qualified and experienced contractors to submit bids for the design and construction of a 12ft by 19ft/6inches, H20 rating bridge deck, hereafter referred to as the North Hemlock Bridge project. We are seeking proposals from reputable design-build firms with a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering similar projects on time and within budget. Work is to start within seven (7) days of bid acceptance. Proposal Submission Requirements: Interested firms are requested to submit a detailed proposal addressing the following key components: Company Overview: Provide a brief overview of your company, including relevant experience and qualifications. As well as a certificate of insurance Project Approach: Outline your proposed approach to the design and construction of the North Hemlock Bridge emphasizing key methodologies, innovations, and strategies. Experience: Highlight your firm's experience in successfully completing similar design-build bridge projects, including any notable achievements or challenges overcome. Cost Estimate: Include a detailed cost estimate for the design and construction of the North Hemlock Bridge specifying both design and construction costs.
