The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: remodeling of a municipal facility. As of November 27, 2023, a construction manager has been assigned for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities in the bidding, and to accept the bids deemed to be in the best interest of Stickney Township after all bids have been examined and evaluated. AIA/305 Prequalification Statements must be submitted to the Construction Manager, Waner Enterprises Inc., prior to obtaining bid documents. Prequalification must include financial ability to perform work; the ability to obtain the necessary bonds and insurance required for the project; experience in building like projects with identification of specific projects which have been completed along with the names of design professionals and owners for the listed projects; a list of references; and any other material relevant to the project. The projects are for the remodeling of the Stickney Township Facilities, located at 5635 State Road, Burbank, IL 60459 & 6721 W 40th Street, Stickney, IL 60804. Each project will be bid separately. Proposals received after the designated time above or proposals received without the required documents listed will not be considered. ONLY A CASH BID DEPOSIT IS ACCEPTABLE in the form of a Certified or Cashier's Check per the following schedule: Carpentry $20,000.00 HVAC $5,000.00 Glazing/Storefront $1,000.00 Painting $4,000.00 Flooring $3,000.00 Plumbing $5,000.00 Electrical $5,000.00 The successful bidder shall pay prevailing wages and shall utilize equal employment hiring practices in connection with the project.
