The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: renovation of an educational facility. As of November 29, 2023, a construction manager has been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. Accepted Bidders could be required, as a condition precedent to award of Contract, to furnish in the amount of 100% of the contract price, satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond and Certificates of Insurance as required in the Project Manual. Include cost for Performance and Payment bond on bid form. The right to reject any or all Bid Proposals, either in whole or in part or to waive any informalities or irregularities therein is reserved by the Owner. Bid Proposals shall be on forms furnished by JBS Contracting in Section 00400. Submit with your Bid Proposals a certified check or 5% Bid Bond by a qualified surety authorized to do business in the state where the Project is located. As requested after the receipt of the bids, bidders shall submit an OSHA Form 300 for the most recent completed year, their worker's compensation Experience Modification Rate (EMR) factor, and any other information required in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall not withdraw Bid Proposals for a period of thirty days after date for receipt of Bid Proposals.
