Outdoor lighting and remodeling of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Newport Beach, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 43,232-square-foot, one-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility.
Pursuant to the contract specifications, the contractor will have 40 consecutive working days to complete the project. Work is scheduled to begin in spring 2024. License Requirements C-10 Liquidated Damages $500 per day Estimated Bid Value $395,300.00 The work necessary for the completion of this contract consists of replacing existing light fixtures to new energy efficient LED fixtures and updating lighting control systems at the Wellness Wing, Art Center Room, and all Meeting Rooms at the following location: Newport Beach Oasis Senior Center 801 Narcissus Ave, Corona Del Mar, CA 92625 The City Clerk's Office will open and read the bid results from online immediately following the Bid Opening. The City of Newport Beach reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any minor irregularity or informality in such bids. Pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 22300, at the request and expense of the Contractor, securities shall be permitted in substitution of money withheld by the City to ensure performance under the contract. The securities shall be deposited in a state or federal chartered bank in California, as the escrow agent.
