The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to obtain a qualified contractor to provide for the safe handling and sanitary disposal of soiled dressings in ladys restroom facilities. The contractor shall provide Sanitary Disposal Services for approximately eighty (80) restroom facilities at twenty (20) locations for the Departments of Capital Programs and Buildings, Parks and Recreation, Diaper Disposal Services (One Unit) at the City Hall and Morgan Memorial Library (one unit) on a monthly basis Bidder should submit the entire IFB as their bid package. Washington Street Suffolk, VA 23434 The contract shall cover the period beginning March 1, 2021 and continuing through February 28, 2022. The City reserves the option to renew the agreement for two (2) additional one-year periods ending February 28, 2024. Unless notified in writing thirty (30) days prior to the expiration date, the contract will automatically renew during these periods. Initial rates and subsequent renewal rates must be guaranteed for a minimum of twelve (12) months. Any increase in rates shall be limited to the lesser of the Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers (CPI-U) - Other Goods and Services (unadjusted for the current 12 month period) or 3%. The City does not guarantee any rate increase.
