Following the public bid reading, bids will be considered by the City and an award of the Contract, if made, will be within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days after the Bid Opening. No bids received. Description of Work: The City of Albuquerque identified the potential for flooding at the intersection of Townsend Avenue and Sunset Gardens Road in southwest Albuquerque. The Townsend Drainage Improvements include the installation of approximately 1,400 linear feet of 18-inch to 36-inch storm drain in Sunset Gardens that will discharge into a new Sunset Garden detention pond. As part of the project, the existing 8" sanitary sewer and existing 6" PVC waterline will be relocated within the Sunset Garden right-of-way. The new storm water retention pond will be located in the vacant lot located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Sunset Gardens Road Dolores Drive. Upon completion of the storm drain installation and relocation of the potable waterline and sanitary sewer, the contractor will be responsible for paving the full width of Sunset Gardens along the project limits. Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, all meetings and bid openings will be held in accessible buildings and other accommodations will be made to facilitate people with disabilities being able to participate in the bid opening.
