Carmen Bridge Seismic Retrofit and Rehabilitation. Description: EWEB requests bids for construction services at EWEB's Carmen-Smith Hydroelectric Project for the furnishing of labor, materials, and equipment for the seismic retrofit and repair of ODOT Bridge No. 18750 in Linn County, OR. Scope of Work. The work contemplated under this Contract includes all labor, tools, machinery, materials, transportation, mobilization/demobilization, equipment and services necessary for, and reasonably incidental to, the completion of all work in connection with the project described in the Contract, the General Conditions, all applicable special conditions, plans, specifications, or any supplementals. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to 10% of the total amount of the bid as bid security to ensure that the Bidder, if offered, will execute the Contract agreement and provide the performance bond and payment bond as required. The lowest responsible and responsive Bidder will be required to provide a performance/payment bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract award if the bid price exceeds $100,000 or if otherwise required in the bid documents.
