This invitation to Bid is for pressure cleaning and painting the entire Asphalt Plant for Sullivan County Highway Department. Pressure clean entire plant to remove all chalking, dirt and loose material. Rust spots to be wire brushed and sanded. Apply one (1) coat of Sherwin Williams Kem Kromik Metal Primer to rust areas. Finish Paint System: o First coat of Sherwin Williams Kem Bond HS as a barrier coat. o Second coat of Sherwin Williams Tile Clad HS Epoxy o Third coat Sherwin Williams Hi Solids Polyurethane No work to be completed on Hot Areas All equipment, material, labor and insurances included in pricing. All work is to be completed as soon as possible, but no later than March 22, 2024. Sullivan County reserves the right to award on a "line item" basis or "all or none" basis, whichever is most advantageous. Sullivan County also reserves the right to award contracts or portions thereof exclusively or to multiple vendors to achieve the best value. Sullivan County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
