Site work for a civil project in Vancouver, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The City invites Tenders for Cypress Arbutus Trenchless Sewer (CATS) project. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to: Supply and installation of approximately 40m of 300mm diameter PVC sanitary sewer pipe inside a 610mm OD steel casing pipe using guided horizontal auger boring method Supply and installation of approximately 40m of 675mm diameter PVC storm sewer pipe inside a 1067mm OD steel casing pipe using guided horizontal auger boring method Traffic control throughout construction involving coordination and traffic management plan approval from the City Settlement and vibration monitoring throughout construction Design and implementation of dewatering of exit pit and/or entry pit, as required Site restoration, road paving, clean-up, and landscaping work Other related works and/or matters including but not limited to testing of installed pipe, silt and erosion control, tree/shrub removal and replanting, adherence to Japanese beetle regulation, coordination with the public, residents, City of Vancouver, BC Hydro, Telus, FortisBC, VPD, Fire Departments, BC Ambulance, First Nations, various underground utility undertakers, and other construction interfacing works and contractors, compliance with safety and health requirements, quality control, and environmental protection, etc.
