To provide all labor, materials, and incidentals necessary to furnish and install walk-in cooler/freezers to the Department of School Nutrition Services, in accordance with the attached specifications. Chesapeake Public Schools reserves the right to require proof from original sources of compilation that would verify the withdrawal's validity. The Chesapeake Public Schools will only award contracts in excess of $1,000 to registered contractors per the Virginia Contractor's Registration Law 54.1-1100. One (1) of the following licenses shall apply: Class "C" for contracts valued over $1,000, but no more than $10,000; Class "B": for contracts valued at $10,000 or more, but less than $120,000; Class "A": for contracts valued at $120,000 or more. Please indicate on the Letter of Transmittal and on the outside of the return envelope, your class and registration number. Failure to comply may disqualify your bid from consideration. Vendors are specifically directed NOT to contact any District personnel, other than specified personnel identified in this bid, for meetings, conferences, or technical discussions that are related to the bid. Unauthorized contact of any District personnel may be cause of rejection of the bidder's response. Work shall begin upon award (established by School Board approval, award letter, Purchase Order, or Formal Written Contract, whichever occurs first) and shall be complete by July 16 2024.
