The Town of Prescott is seeking proposals from qualified individuals/firms to provide for the design, supply and installation of a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system along various street locations in the Town of Prescott. The Town of Prescott issues this Request for Proposal ("RFP") for solicitation of competitive proposed solutions for the provision of an outdoor CCTV solution including: A minimum of fifteen (15) CCTV cameras capable of high-quality video; Video storage and access system with the ability to store for a minimum of 30 (thirty) days; All accessories and mounts; All electrical and data transmission connections; Installation of the above items; User training and documentation; Obtain approval from owners of poles or buildings where mounting cameras The Town intends to establish a CCTV system involving the initial installation of a minimum of 15 surveillance cameras throughout Town. The cameras are to be installed on traffic poles, light poles, traffic lights, or Town owned buildings. All equipment will be assembled and installed by the Proponent. The proposals shall include the costs of delivered and installed CCTV surveillance as designed, inclusive of the equipment, components, and hardware. Detailed technical instructions and maintenance and operations manuals from the manufacturer shall also be included. It is the responsibility of the contractor to review the existing conditions prior to submission of proposal documents. The Town will select one (1) Proponent to provide equipment and materials for the CCTV Project as outlined in this request. The Town of Prescott shall be exempt from any liability for costs incurred by Proponents in preparation of the proposals. The Town of Prescott requires a minimum of three (3) years support and onsite support with the option to continue annual support after the initial three (3) year period has ended. The Proponent should provide a detailed description of standard and extended support, maintenance, and the average response time for a support request. The total dollar amount allocated to the project is $100,000.00 CDN excluding all appropriate taxes.
