Upgrades to Culverts on the King's Highways in Western Ontario. TIMELINE: A Request For Proposals has been issued by the owner. The awarded proponent will provide inspection and detail design for the replacement and/or rehabilitation of aging culverts in various locations on both Kings Highways and Freeways throughout the Western Region. The Ministry anticipates that it will require the provision of technical services detailed in section 4.1 in the following geographic area(s): West, Central and East Areas of Eastern Region (Area Maps provided in separate attachment). In the event that the available funding is exhausted within an Area, the Service Provider(s) of the remaining Areas can perform work under other Areas if the need arises.) The scope of work will include the performance of all work necessary or appropriate to deliver the individual Work Items requested by the Ministry throughout the term of the Retainer Assignment in conformance with the standards, criteria and requirements of the Technical Standards and Specifications. As well, when providing services under this Agreement, the Service Provider shall comply with all applicable legislation, regulatory standards, industry best management practices, and other guidelines and procedures relevant to conduct the work. The Service Provider shall also consult any existing applicable MTO guidance documents as appropriate. This assignment may include work that is in a French Language Services designated area. For each work item the Service Provider is to determine if French language services are required under the French Language Services Act. The Service Provider must comply with all provisions of the Act, including but not limited to Third Party Regulation 284/11 Official bid documents must be obtained from www.raqsesp.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
