Site work for a mixed-use development in Emerson, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
Work of this Contract comprises of the remediation of an approximate 450 m long section of dike consisting of clearing and grubbing within the failed portions of the dike, extending the existing drainage culverts within the dike, installing culvert canal gates, placing and compacting imported clay fill, revegetating the site, constructing a granular trail on the south dike segment, constructing a drainage ditch along the south dike segment, and relocating approximately 200 m of BellMTS fibre line. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond and an Agreement to Bond, issued by a Surety Company licensed to conduct business in Canada, and acceptable to the Owner. The Bid Bond shall be in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of total bid price. The Bid Bond shall be valid for a period of not less than sixty (60) days from the date of tender. A performance bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price A labour and materials bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price.
