The purpose for this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to establish a requirements contract for furnishing, installing and for the removal of carpet and tile on an as needed basis for Chesterfield County ("the County)" and Chesterfield County Public Schools ("CCPS"). For the purposes of this IFB, "the County" and "CCPS" are synonymous, except where otherwise required by context or law. It is the County's intent to award to multiple contractors for different manufacturers The County's annual expenditure for these products is estimated to be $400,000. This is provided for information only, and is no guarantee of purchases to be made under the resultant contract. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools and supervision necessary to perform the work. Services shall include removal and disposal of existing materials, preparation of flooring for new covering installation, furnishing and installing new carpet, floor tile, and/or combination of both, complete with transitions and related installation accessories. The initial term of this contract shall be effective from date of contract execution through December 31, 2024.
