Renovation of a mixed-use development in Chalmette, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a communication facility.

The St. Bernard Parish School Board reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, all proposals submitted and/or to cancel this announcement. The St. Bernard Parish School Board, 200 E. St. Bernard Hwy., Chalmette, LA 70043 hereby solicits proposals from qualified vendors for a wireless network infrastructure at St. Bernard Parish School locations. Proposals will include the design, configuration, hardware, and installation of a secured, wireless network. Proposers may schedule a meeting or a conference call for the purpose of discussion and clarification of our request. During this time any questions concerning the RFP package will be addressed. Written questions concerning this Request for Proposal package should be addressed to Laura Dorcey at the address noted above, faxed to 504-301-2010, or by email at lcarlin@sbpsb.org, and should be clearly marked RFP - SBPSB WIRELESS NETWORK. All conference calls and written questions must be completed by 4:00 p.m., December 12, 2023. The scope of this project shall include all hardware, POE switches, patch panels, software, licenses, configuration, cabling, installation and training. A hardware listing must be provided on a per site basis and must include all access points, controllers, and all other miscellaneous equipment. A listing of the exact location of APs for each site must be presented to SBPSB prior to payment. Anticipated Award Date: 02/27/2024
