Guido Jr. Architect PC. 20 Polk Street, Rocky Point, NY 11778 (631) 849-5852 Each Bidder must deposit, with their sealed bed. security in an amount not fess than 5% of the total bid in the proper form subject to the conditions set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidder will also be required to show, to the satisfaction of the Board of Education that they are carrying Workers' Compensation Insurance as required by law and all other Insurance in amounts not less than that specified under the General Conditions. Performance Bonds and Labor/Material Bonds are a requirement of each contract as called for in the Genera! Conditions. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or affl bids submitted and to waive any ^formality in any bid, and shall, further make awards in any way it deems advisable to the best interest of the School District. The successful Bidder shall execute a formal contract to be prepared by the Attorney for the School District, if the Board of Education so requires. All bids received after the time stated in the Notice to Bidders may not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder. The bidder assumes the risk of any delay in the mail or in the handling of the mail by employees erf the School District Whether sent by mail or by means of personal delivery, the bidder assumes response as for having its bid deposited on time at the place specified. Attention of the Bidders is Specially directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract Per Article 8. Section 220 of the New York State Labor Law, every contractor and sub-contractor shall submit to the School District within thirty (30) days after issuance of its first pay. and every thirty (30) days thereafter, a transcript of the original payroll record, as provided by this article, subscribed and affirmed as true under penalties of perjury. The School District shall be required to receive and maintain such payroll records. The original payrolls or transcripts shall be preserved for three (3) years from the completion of the work on the award project. Doc notes :This deposit shall be refunded to each only if the plans and specifications are returned to Madison-Lohrius. in good condition, within thirty (30) calendar days after the bid opening. After thirty (30) days all deposits shall be forfeited to the School District Non-Bidders must return the documents in good condition prior to the date of the bid opening.
