Renovation of a water / sewer project in Kansas City, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for Parallel Pump Station VFD Replacement. The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities (BPU) is seeking proposals from interested proposers for the VFD equipment purchase to replace the two existing VFDs (for pumps #1 and #5) at BPU Parallel Pump Station. Per the attached technical specification (Variable Frequency Motor Controllers WTR - Section 26 29 23), proposer shall provide equipment and startup services only. BPU shall be responsible for the install and wiring of the equipment. The BPU reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and waive irregularities therein, and all Proposers agree that such rejection shall be without liability on the part of the BPU for any penalty of any kind brought against the BPU because of such rejections. Questions Due: 11/20/2023 Answers to Questions Promulgated: 11/29/2023 Proposers may request additional information in writing about the project. All questions must be submitted to Department of Purchasing & Supply Chain (jbagby@bpu.com and purchasing@bpu.com) M/WBE's are encouraged to participate in the bid process.
