The City of Owen Sound and the County of Grey are seeking a traffic signal and flashing light maintenance provider to undertake services as described herein to provide maintenance for all signals and flashing lights / beacons and pedestrian crosswalks. The Contractor shall be a qualified electrical contractor for maintenance of the traffic signal system, including but not limited to the installation and maintenance of signal heads, pedestrian heads and push buttons, signs, wires, grounding rods, pre-emption equipment, Miovision, traffic cabinets, poles and arms. The City of Owen Sound has a total of 23 signalized intersections, three flashing beacons and four pedestrian crossing requiring Spring and Fall maintenance under this contract. All locations are detailed in Attachment 1. The County of Grey has 33 signalized intersections, 42 flashing lights over stop signs, 9 span mount flashing beacons and 3 locations with amber flashing warning lights which require spring/fall maintenance and call out maintenance under the provisions of this contract. All locations are detailed in Attachment 2. The County also has 18 timed school zone flashers which are maintained by County of Grey Forces.
