The purpose of this RFP is for Henry County Schools to secure pricing and establish a term contract for Managed Fiber Switched Ethernet WAN services for all district locations. Henry County Schools is currently serviced by one 1Gbps Switched Ethernet circuit located at each of our sites. Each of these sites connect back to one of six 10Gbps host circuits in the HCS datacenter. The current handoff to HCS equipment is via copper to provide a 1Gbps connection to the local school or district site. The 10Gbps hosts hand off to HCS equipment via 10Gbps multimode fiber. The district wishes to award this contract to a single vendor to provide these managed ethernet services. All questions concerning this RFP must be submitted in writing via the electronic platform's message feature for "Opportunity Q&A" by October 27, 2023 at 4:00p.m. EST. No questions other than written will be accepted. No response other than written will be binding upon Henry County Schools. All offerors must submit questions by the deadline identified in the RFP TIMETABLE above for submitting questions.
