PWP is seeking a vendor to provide as-needed roof repair services. The selected contractor will enter into a time and materials purchase order contract for on-call roof maintenance and repair services on an as-needed basis. This purchase order contract will be effective for a five (5) year period. The work shall include the furnishing of all supervision, labor, materials, and services required to make the necessary repairs. Along with making repairs to roofs, the Contractor may be required to demolish and remove existing roof materials and dispose of all waste material. Repairs shall be billed at an agreed upon hourly rate plus a percent mark-up on materials, if applicable. Required Licenses (Eligibility Requirement) Bidders must possess and provide the following license(s) or certification(s) to be deemed qualified to perform the work specified: Deadline for Questions The deadline to submit questions related to this solicitation is Monday, December 18, 2023, prior to 12:00 pm. WARRANTY Workmanship of the Contractor shall be warranted free of defects in materials and workmanship for six months or two-service calls, whichever occurs first, from the date of final acceptance by the City of Pasadena. Acceptance of Conditions By submitting a bid, each bidder expressly agrees to and accepts the following conditions: o All parts of the Instructions to Bidders and Specifications will become part of the Contract between the selected bidder and the City; o The City may require whatever evidence is deemed necessary relative to the bidder's financial stability and ability to complete this project. o The City reserves the right to request further information from the bidder, either in writing or orally, to establish any stated qualifications; o The City reserves the right to solely judge the bidder's representations, and to solely determine whether the bidder is qualified to undertake the project pursuant to the criteria set forth herein. The bidder, by submitting a bid, expressly acknowledges and agrees that the judgment of the City as to whether or not the bidder is qualified to perform the project, shall be final, binding and conclusive; o The City reserves the right to reject all bids, waive any irregularity in any of the bids, or cancel or delay the project at any time; o This bidding process does not commit the City to award any contract, and the City is not liable for any costs incurred by the bidder in the preparation and submission of a bid.
