The Town of Nantucket, through its Sewer Department, invites qualified bidders to submit bid proposals to perform Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Video Inspections of underground storm drain pipes in the Town of Nantucket. This project also includes manhole inspections of all manholes accessed during the storm drain CCTV inspections. The Town of Nantucket operates and maintains approximately 20 miles of storm drain mains and 1 pump station. The size range of storm drain pipes is largely undocumented. The Town also owns and maintains approximately 420 storm drain manholes and 2,200 catch basins. This project will be the Town's second drainage assessment, focusing on pipes that were not inspected during the first phase of inspections. The Contractor shall clean and inspect storm drain pipe, manholes, and catch basins for approximately 36,000 LF of 6-in to 48-in drain pipes. This contract is for a one (1) year period with the option for the Town to extend this Contract for an additional one (1) year. CCTV inspection shall be completed in accordance with the National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) Pipeline Assessment and Certification Program (PACP) Standards V7.0. The Contractor shall use personnel for CCTV inspection who are trained and certified (current standing) in the use of NASSCO's PACP framework. The Contractor shall also record the locations of the inspected manholes and catch basins using GPS transponder, and record discrepancies in the Geographic Information System (GIS) base maps. Each General Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the amount of 5% of the Bidder's maximum Bid Price. The successful General Bidder must furnish 50% Payment Bond, and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 5 days (excluding Saturday, Sunday and holidays) following notification of the Bid acceptance.
