Unified School District 204 is requesting pricing snow and ice removal services. These services are required on demand, determined by weather and school district needs. This information will provide the operations department and Board of Education with a clear cost comparison for the possible outsourcing of this work. Completion and providing of this information in no way awards approved contracts. Contractor submitting pricing will consider the following: Currently possess experienced manpower to complete all required parking lot and sidewalk snow and ice removal services. Currently possess experienced manpower to complete all recurring parking lot and sidewalk snow and ice removal services with progressing accumulations. Properly licensed, maintained and operating equipment to complete all required and recurring snow and ice removal services. Means to have equipment repaired in order to keep in operation. Have a minimum or 5 years experience consecutively with this type of work. Have a minimum or 5 years experience consecutively with facilities of similar size. Provide three written references with contact information from current, or past customers of similar scope of work. Inventory and supply all required snow removal salt / sand supplies. Have management, staff and equipment in place in order to complete snow and ice removal, in such a manner that school can continue as scheduled. Obtain and maintain a minimum of one million dollars liability insurance coverage. Must have crews available for callbacks 24 x 7 and respond to communication within 1 hour.
