The Schley County Utilities Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids including without limitation the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids; and to make an award in the best interest of the Schley County Utilities Authority. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. If awarded the Contract the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Band and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Bonds must be provided by sureties appearing on the U.S. Treasure Departments' most current Circular 570 Listing and be licensed in the State of Georgia. The project consists of installation of a pre-packaged skid mounted iron & manganese removal filtering system (complete with two (2) 600 GPM vessels, along with concrete pad, yard piping, backwash/recycle system, remove and replace the existing filtration media at GoolsbyStevens Road Well, and all other appurtenances needed for a complete installation as indicated in these Bidding Documents.
