Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Garden City, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Scope of Work for this contract includes furnishing all labor and material required to complete the project. Site improvements in this scope of work include but are not limited to installation of a new playground, play mound/earthwork berms, concrete pavement, site furnishings, irrigation, and electrical work, with a restroom and pavilion as add alternates. Additional scope includes soil preparation, planting beds, and trees. Seeding shall be performed by the City after fine grading and soil preparation is completed by the contractor. Also included in scope are erosion control measures necessary to protect sidewalks and storm water infrastructure, grading of the site, haul-off of excess fill material, and coordination with City utility for connection to existing irrigation system, and installation of new water service, electrical service, and sewer service. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to the City of Garden City, Kansas.
