CR Number: 2103833 The State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) seeks a Contractor to replace our grease interceptor in the Gateway Building. The current grease interceptor is located in the basement of our Gateway Building. The interceptor is not a traditional tank type, is extremely high maintenance and is undersized. Constant cleaning of the interceptor by ESF staff is required and it overflows often, leaving a constant odor in the air throughout the basement where a research center and classroom are also located. Two traditional tank type interceptors that are well sealed and sized to contain all contents and odors shall be provided. The tanks shall be located inside the basement room where the current interceptor is located. Pump out ports shall be provided so a pump out service can empty and clean the tanks on a regular basis. Replacement of the interceptor shall take place seamlessly, so the new interceptors are installed before the current interceptor is removed/taken offline. Contract term: 150 day Time for Completion plus 1 year guarantee It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.
