Background The City of Thousand Oaks is located in eastern Ventura County and consists of 56 square miles. The City population is approximately 127,000. The City is a general law city operating under the Council/Manager form of government. The City Council is comprised of five elected members, with one member serving as Mayor on an annual basis. On July 18, 2023, the City Council adopted an ordinance which will move the City to district-based elections starting in November 2024. Submission Deadline: January 2, 2024, 4:00pm The City seeks professional inspection and testing services from a qualified and experienced consultant to provide inspection and testing professional services for Asphalt Rubberized Hot Mix (ARHM), ARHM plant inspection, Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA), RAP Micro-surfacing, Slurry Seal (REAS) construction inspection, remove and replace asphalt pavement (R&R), and plant inspection in accordance with this Request for Proposal/Qualifications (RFP/Q). Proposal Information Proposers should note that the City desires and expects your Proposal to include those tasks and services that you believe may be required to complete the Scope of Work, based on your firm's expertise and prior experience. The proposal shall address all tasks outlined below, and any additional tasks you believe are necessary, and your approach to accomplishing the same. Include meetings with key officials, stakeholders and expected number of presentations.
