As of January 17, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Work to include the removal of existing PIB roof system, removal of existing parapet coping, roof membrane flashing, roof drain assemblies, and the disconnection and salvaging of a rooftop unit for reinstallation. New work to include the installation of new EPDM roof assembly, metal parapet coping, roof drains, walkway pad, pipe seal flashing, and crickets with positive drainage to roof drains. The successful bidder shall comply with the provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, specifically including the payment of the applicable prevailing wages to all laborers, workers, and mechanics performing work under the contract. The District does have a Project Labor Agreement that must be adhered to. 3. Bids shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, considering conformity with specifications, terms of delivery, and quality and serviceability, as determined by the Board. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part or to waive any informality in the bidding process. Any such decision shall be considered final. 8. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. 9. Facsimile and electronic bids will not be accepted. Bidders are responsible for ensuring timely delivery of their bids; no late bids will be accepted.
