Polk County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, is soliciting bids for the following: BID #24-006, Power Line Road Pressure Grouting. Scope of Work: Pressure grouting of loose soils and voids that are located underneath Power Line Road approximately 0.15 mile north of Johnson Ave. The construction cost estimate for the project is $300,000.00. Qualification Requirements: The prime contractor shall be an experienced Pressure Grouting Contractor that possesses either a general contractor license or is FDOT prequalified in one of the following: Geotechnical Specialty Contractor; Sinkhole Repair; Sinkhole Remediation and Stabilization; Grout Injection; Pressure Grout; Soil Remediation; copy of license shall be submitted with the bid and a copy posted on the job site. The prime contractor shall retain the services of an FDOT pre-qualified Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) subcontractor to install and maintain the detour signing for the road closure.
