When noted in the specifications, bids must be accompanied by a Bank Cashier's Check, Bank Draft, Certified Check, or Bid Bond for not less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) or five (5%) percent of the amount of the Bid. When noted in the specifications, the County reserves the right to require the successful bidder to supply a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and a and Materials Bond within ten (10) calendar days of acceptance of the Vendor's bid by the County. The bonds, unless otherwise specified by the Director of Purchasing, shall be 100% of the total contract price. *The County of Kane reserves the right at any time and for any reason to cancel this Invitation for Bids, accept or reject any or all bids or any portion thereof, or accept an alternate bid. The County reserves the right to waive any immaterial defect in any bid. Unless otherwise specified by the bidder or the County, the County has one hundred twenty (120) days to accept.
