Reconstruction of 3rd Ave. South from 2nd St. to 6th St. Reconstruction of 5th St. South from the railroad tracks to 3rd Ave. South. Reconstruction of 3rd Street South from the Railroad Tracks to 3rd Avenue South New street to match the existing width of the street at 28 '. Street to include geotextile fabric, 12" of aggregate base/salvaged base course, 5.5 " of bituminous pavement, curb and gutter, and replacement of concrete driveways to the right of way. 3rd Ave. South section to include new sidewalk on south side of street from 5th St. to 6th St. There is new sidewalk already in place along the Community Center. The north side of the street will include new sidewalk for the section. The 5th St. section will include new sidewalk on both sides of the street. Current estimate has new water and sanitary sewer mains and services lines. There is not much storm sewer on the project, just inlets at the 4th and 5th Street intersections of 3rd Avenue South. The storm sewer mains are on 4th and 5th Street and start at 3rd Avenue South, so this is the shallow end of the system. Due to lack of cover it is unlikely we will be able to extend storm sewer farther into the blocks. Prices updated with 2022 unit prices.
