The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from VDOT approved aggregate plants or quarries to provide various types of aggregate as listed on the solicitation bid pricing schedule. The aggregate will be picked up by VDOT operated or hired trucks from the Contractor's quarry or plant. Aggregate shall be loaded by the Contractor. The initial contract period will from start date to be determined at time of award, until January 4, 2025 (renewable). The contract period will be from start date, to be determined at time of award, through January 4, 2025, with two (2) successive one (1) year renewal options. Question Deadline 12/03/2023 at 5:00 PM ET Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Chelsa Taylor at Chelsa.Taylor@VDOT.Virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. No Pre-Bid will be held for the solicitation. However, potential bidders are encouraged to present questions or obtain clarification relative to any facet of this solicitation by contacting Chelsa.Taylor@VDOT.Virginia.gov. Payment will be made (in accordance with the Virginia Prompt Payment Act) within 30 days after receipt of valid invoice and verification of satisfactory goods received and/or completion of work. Invoices shall be submitted to the address listed below for all items completed within the designated billing period.
