The Town of Jonesville (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Jonesville Water System Improvements (Phase 2) The Project includes the following Work: Construction of approximately 5,600 linear feet of 2- and 6-inch diameter water mains and associated appurtenances and furnishment of approximately 750 service meter radios and one complete mobile (drive-by) reading system Bids are requested for the following Contracts: Contract 1: Construction of approximately 5,600 linear feet of 2- and 6-inch diameter water mains and associated appurtenances Contract 2: Furnishment of approximately 750 service meter radios and one complete mobile (drive-by) reading system Obtaining the Bidding Documents The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Crossroads Engineering crossroadsengineering08@yahoo.com Prospective Bidders may request, by e-mail, to purchase copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office in the format and at the cost indicated in the table below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. The cost does not include shipping charges. Instructions to Bidders For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit bids. Bidders must comply with the following: the President's Executive Order #11246 prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, sex, or national origin; the President's Executive Orders #12138 and 11625 regarding utilization of MBE/WBE firms; and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Bidders must certify that they do not or will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
