License Requirements C-61/D49 or C-27 Q&A Deadline 12/11/2023 10:00 AM (PST) Questions and answers shall be submitted through the City's online portal, Project involves removal of several dead trees throughout the Douglas Family Preserve. In most cases retention of stumps to aid in soil stabilization will occur, so there will be very limited if any stump removal. In addition to removals there will be limited pruning, primarily deadwood removal as advised. Successful bidder will also be responsible for dumping and spreading generated wood chip mulch in areas as advised throughout the park and in limited cases as directed by staff, contractor will retain trunks and strategically place them in the park to delineate trails. The project shall be completed in entirety prior to January 31. In accordance with Civil Code 9550, if the bid exceeds $25,000, the Successful Bidder shall furnish within ten (10) consecutive calendar days after written Notice of Award, a Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid. Bidders are hereby notified that any service purchase order issued as a result of this bid may be subject to the provisions and regulations of the City of Santa Barbara Ordinance No. 5384, Santa Barbara Municipal Code, Chapter 9.128 and its impending regulations relating to the payment of Living Wages. A pre-bid meeting will not be held.
